Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet in Brussels on Monday with Marta Kos, Commissioner for Enlargement of the European Union, BHRT learned from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This visit comes after the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto announced that the European Union has adopted the Reform Agenda for BiH, although there is no official confirmation from Brussels yet.

Bosnia and Herzegovina now faces the appointment of a coordinator, or chief negotiator, and the ratification of two agreements – the Ratification Agreement and the Loan Agreement.

The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH announced that the negotiator could be known on Tuesday, when it will be discussed at a session of the Council of Ministers of BiH.

As a reminder, Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Reform Agenda late, which is why we lost the first tranche of 108.5 million euros from the Growth Plan funds.

After its adoption, BiH could withdraw slightly more than 60 million euros from the Growth Plan by the end of the year.

Each subsequent tranche is conditional on fulfilling the conditions from the Reform Agenda, and one of the conditions is resolving the issue of the Public Broadcasting Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Reform Agenda foresees that this issue will be resolved in December of this year.
