Members of the German police detained a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina who, during a subsequent search, found a knife with a 16-centimeter blade, “Nezavisne novine” writes.

Namely, during a routine control at the Central Station in Essen, they spotted a young man whose behavior stood out from the crowd. Incidentally, members of the police approached him first because he was smoking in the area of the station, where smoking is strictly prohibited.

Because of this, the young man became nervous and started behaving irrationally, which is why the police decided to take him to the station.

During the search, a knife with a fixed blade 16 centimeters long was found. After that, he was taken for questioning, during which he refused to answer why he was carrying a weapon with him.

As the media reports, he has a registered residence in Rosenheim.

After the police processing was completed, he was reported for violating the Arms Act.

In the end, he received a misdemeanor charge for smoking in an area where smoking is strictly prohibited.
