The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved an important victory against Qatar with a score of 3:1 in the match of the group stage of the World Cup, and after the match, even the BiH team members did not hide their satisfaction.
One of the players who made a significant contribution to the Dragons triumph was Amar Memić, who after the match pointed out that the atmosphere at the stadium was special and that the BiH fans once again showed how much support for the national team means to the players on the field.
“Unbelievable, performing in front of the home audience in America. Proud of myself, the boys and the whole country. Thank you very much, I hope for your support and we will continue to write history”, said Memic.
Even Kerim Alajbegović, the scorer of the first goal for Bosnia and Herzegovina, did not hide his special emotions. The young member of the national team pointed out that the team imposed its rhythm from the beginning and deservedly achieved a worthy victory.
“I didn’t think much about the goal, the ball fell nicely to me. It was a good goal. Then the second goal came and it was easier after that. We fell a little after the Qatari goal, but we found our strength. We could have led 3:0, 4:0 before that. We came out well in the second half and everything ended well,” said Alajbegović.
Speaking about the support from the stands, the BiH national team player did not hide his enthusiasm for the atmosphere created by the fans of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The fans were our 12th player. I have no words, thank you all for the great support and the whole of BiH and all the people in the stadium,” added Alajbegović.
With the victory against Qatar, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team took another big step at the World Cup, and the support of numerous fans in the United States of America once again showed how loyal the Dragons have an army of fans around the world.
