COM EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, participated in the 28th Strategic Committee for Ammunition, Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (SCAWEO), reaffirming EUFOR’s commitment to supporting efforts that enhance safety, security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The committee brought together representatives of domestic institutions and international partners to discuss progress, challenges and future priorities related to the management, security and disposal of ammunition, weapons and explosive ordnance.

The event provided an important platform for coordination and cooperation among stakeholders working to reduce risks associated with surplus ammunition and weapons stockpiles while strengthening long-term security measures across the country.

EUFOR continues to support initiatives that contribute to a safe and secure environment for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina through close cooperation with local authorities and international partners.
