The rich history, culture and tradition of Sarajevo and Cairo will be united once again by the Memorandum of Understanding signed on Sunday by Mayor Benjamina Karić and Governor Khaled Abdel Aal.

“At a time when city diplomacy is increasingly present, Sarajevo and Cairo can become key links in strengthening relations between friendly countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Egypt,” Mayor Karić said.

Sarajevo enjoys the great favor of the Egyptian people and authorities. We thank the honorable governor of Cairo, Khaled Abdel Aal, for the hospitable and warm welcome, the mayor’s office announced on the occasion.
