Throughout December, the Regional Board of “Merhamet” Mostar conducted a winter campaign to distribute food packages to socially vulnerable families in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, in order to make New Year’s Eve more beautiful for the most endangered citizens.

“In cooperation with the Basic Committees in Mostar, Konjic, Jablanica, and Prozor, we have successfully distributed more than 200 food packages. We have also delivered 40 packages for families in need in the Tomislavgrad area. In the following days,we will continue our action in Capljina and Stolac, ” explainedthe director of the Regional Board of “Merhamet“ Mostar, Adnin Hasic.

He pointed out that at the beginning of December, this humanitarian organization, in cooperation with the headquarters of the humanitarian organization “Merhamet” MDD, in Konjic and Jablanica, distributed 20 electric stoves and large food packages for families whose homes were damaged during the recent floods in this area. This significant and valuable help was provided by “Merhamet” of Sweden.

“We thank all businessmen, institutions, and individuals who have recognized our work and supported us along the way. Merhamet continues the mission of charity in Herzegovina and we hope that in 2022 we will all be even more successful in all fields, including in the fight against poverty, “ Hasic concluded.
