Humanitarian organization Merhamet from Sweden organized a campaign to help the soup kitchens in Banja Luka, Bihać, Bosanski Novi, Jajce, Janja, Mostar, Sanski Most, Sarajevo, Travnik, Trebinje, Tuzla and Zenica, and donated 40.61 BAM in total.
In addition to this, during last year the Alliance of Citizens of Banja Luka in Sweden implemented a fundraiser for the soup kitchen in Banja Luka and raised 10.601 BAM.
Some of the regular charity campaigns that the Merhamet Sverige implements are the provision of scholarships for children without parental care in BiH, Eid Al Adha campaign, and the Ramadan campaign.
President of Merhamet Sverige Fehim Halilović said that they implemented this campaign in cooperation with their members, loyal donors who regularly support all Merhamet activities. Halilović wholeheartedly thanked them all.
