According to police estimates, between 16.000 and 18.000 people attended yesterday’s rally organized by the Republika Srpska (RS) Veterans’ Organization (BORS) on Krajina Square in Banja Luka.

Representatives of the ruling coalition in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) could be seen in the audience in this BiH entity. As it was previously written, many scandalous messages were sent from the rally, and even High Representative Christian Schmidt was threatened with death.

The commander of the infamous unit “The Drina Wolves“, Milan Jolovic, also addressed the audience. Representatives of veterans’ organizations, the academic community, and non-governmental organizations of the RS addressed the rally in turn.

”Suffering and enormous human agony are viewed one-sidedly and biasedly, ” stated Slobodan Brdar from the Association of Pensioners of RS during his address.

“BORS RS has decided to organize today’s gathering of people called ‘Freedom’ in order to say together – do not play with the institutions that these people created and defended,” Brdar added yesterday , Klix.ba writes.

“In these difficult days for our people, let us show peace and dignity as befits the Serbian, old European people. Our centuries-old struggle for freedom was similar to the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today we are all together at this national gathering where we express dissatisfaction with the decisions of the representatives of the international community. It refers to the ban on disposing of the property of the state of BiH. Over 23.000 fighters gave their lives for our property and 45.000 body parts and blood,” said Radovan Lukic, dean of the Faculty of Law in Istocno Sarajevo.
