Mesud Pezer broke his personal Record twice in four Days

Mesud Pezer Records sportsport.baAfter the successful previous season, Mesud Pezer, athlete from Zenica, entered the new season also with excellent results in shot put.

Pezer performed at the meeting in Stockholm on February 5, where he won with a result of 19.58 meters, thus setting his new best hall result.

After the performance in Sweden, on February 9 he also performed at the meeting in Tartu, Estonia. Already in the first series he achieved a result of 19.70 meters, securing himself a golden medal and the new best hall result.

Pezer is to perform at several more meeting this month, including the Balkan Athletics Championships indoors in Turkey.

At the recently published rankings of shot putters, Mesud Pezer was ranked 36th with 1,159 points. Of other shot putters from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kemal Mešić (31st) and Hamza ALić (25th) are ahead of Pezer.

The best ranked shot putter from the region is Asmir Kolašinac, on the high 9th position.
