“Milorad Dodik has entered the second Phase”

“Milorad Dodik has entered the second phase. History has shown that when someone is in power for too long, he loses his sense of reality and flies to the heavens, giving himself divine characteristics, proportions, historical roles. That is partly the reason for all of this, because I don’t see the purpose of this uproar,” said Mladen Ivanic, honorary president of PDP.

Commenting on Dodik’s political goals based on his statements and “uproar”, Ivanic told that he had not communicated with him for 4-5 years, but that he could guess.

“A few years ago, it meant that he would get increased support from the people, part of the population likes that kind of noise, he seems to be an authoritative politician who knows what he’s doing. But I’m sure he has now entered the second phase. History has shown that when someone is in power for too long, they lose their sense of reality and fly to the heavens, giving themselves divine characteristics, proportions, and historical roles. There is probably a part of it. I don’t see the point of theuproar. Patriarch Pavle used to say, ‘he who makes a lot of noise and insults people in a debate has weak arguments’. For those in Sarajevo, of which there are a lot of extremes, Dodik serves as a justification and everything goes around in a circle”, explainedIvanic.

Commenting on the “ultimatums” to High Representative Christian Schmidt and opposition to the possible imposition of changes to the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Election Law, Ivanic said:

“I don’t know what Schmidt plans to do. As a person, I am generally against imposition, but my argumentation is different from Dodik’s. Political conditions should be created so that we no longer need a high representative. It has been shown in some institutions that we do not need a high representative when we want it. The real answer of SNSD and HDZ is to bring changes to the Election Law. They hold the keys. But obviously, the SNSD would not have this role and power, nor the leaders who would have positions now, nor would Dodik be president, and the question is whether Cvijanovic would have been in this position if the elections had been regular. There are tensions, so I’m not sure which way it will go if he imposes it. In today’s political life in BiH, it is all or nothing.”

“The Coalition of Three did not make major concessions to HDZ”

Speaking about the accusations that the Coalition of Three makes big concessions to the HDZ, Ivanic says that he does not see it.

However, he does not believe that there is a true will and intention among the parties of the state coalition to lead BiH to the European Union (EU). He believes that otherwise, they would have created a concept of work on that path during the formation of the government itself.

The key is in Nestorovic‘s hands

Commenting on the elections and the consequences of the elections in Serbia, he said that “everything depends on Nestorovic and the people around him”, N1 writes.
