Dodik Order to Search abc.baEntity president talked about not coming to Sarajevo at the hearing, as well as on whether he is ready for his political end.

The President of RS, Milorad Dodik, was a guest on FACE TV, where he spoke about the invitation to the Prosecutor’s Office, as well as on efforts of the RS to separate from BiH.

On the question whether he will come to the hearing of the Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo, Dodik said that he is ready to come to SIPA or some other judicial institution.

“I am looking for no precedent, I only ask for the same thing that was given to others. Previously, you could make a statement via video link or in some other way, I do not see why the good will cannot be used in the good way,” said Dodik.

Asked whether he does not want to come to hearing at the State Prosecution because of the fear that he will be interrogated about other affairs, Dodik said:

“Those who do not know the procedure are saying that. No one has referred me to any other case, the only call I got applies to hearing regarding the referendum. And I do not think that anyone would do that, it would seem as some kind of foray, although we saw that in the past. This is a political instrumentalization,” he concluded.

Dodik also stated that it is possible to separate the RS from BiH.

“Yes, to finely divide and have fine neighborly relationship. We can do it peacefully, without the war,” said the president of that entity.

When asked about whether he is ready for his political end, Dodik admitted that he wanted to retire a few years ago, but decided to stay a bit longer.

In the end he said that his exit strategy is formation of non-governmental organizations that will fight against violence in BiH.

“And I will be very successful in this, you will see,” said Dodik.
