dodik3The political attitude, what is it? Today one, tomorrow another. If necessary, Bosnian politicians used to change them. There are almost no exceptions.

The case of Milorad Dodik. Million Bosnians are already used to the ideas of the leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats. Republika Srpska is a country. Hague tribunal, what is it? The judgment of Radovan Karadzic is a revenge, not justice. These are Dodik’s ideas and beliefs. Twenty years ago, attitudes were different. This is probably due to the political climate.

That’s how things work in BiH for years and this is not only the case of Milorad Dodik. Examples are everywhere and every day. Today one opinion, tomorrow another one.

On 2nd March 1996, magazine Slobodna Bosna, published a more extensive interview with Milorad Dodik, President of the Union of Independent Social Democrats. In this interview, with a journalist Aleksandar Cotric from Belgrade, the current president of smaller BH Entity, Republika Srpska, talks about the ICTY, Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic.

Although the President of the RS defends Mladic and challenges the work of the Hague Tribunal, in 1996 that was not the case.

What is the position of your party regarding the Hague Tribunal? Cooperate or not?

All our relationships with the international institutions are derived from the Dayton agreement. Therefore, we think that the cooperation with the ICTY is necessary and that all who committed specific war crimes have to be brought to justice.

And Karadzic and Mladic as well?

Yes, two of them also. Let the court finds if they are guilty or not, and not to put their responsibility on the back of the entire Serbian people. Guilt is an individual thing, and everyone should suffer for the crimes committed.

Do You consider Bosnia and Herzegovina as your homeland?

Yes!
