Non-resident Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Malta Slavko Matanovic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Carmel Abel in La Valletta.

During the talks, the Ambassador briefed the Minister on the process of government formation in BiH, as well as the economic reform agenda. Minister Abel expressed Malta’s support for BiH’s EU integration process.

Also, the bilateral relations were assessed as good and without open issues, emphasizing the need to intensify economic cooperation.

Since Malta imports almost all products, there is a space for BiH products to be exported.

Minister Abela thanked for the support of BiH to the Maltese candidate in the International Maritime Organization in the period 2020-2024.
