Minister Cikotic emphasized the Importance of Establishing Exchange of Information with Bangladesh

Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Selmo Cikotić received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Osamah Dakhel R. Al-Ahmadi in an inaugural visit.

Minister Cikotić welcomed and wished a lot of success to Ambassador Al-Ahmadi in his future work. He emphasized the commitment of the BiH Ministry of Security to continue the current cooperation between the two friendly countries.

This especially refers to the cooperation in the fight against global security challenges, but also the timely exchange of information in order to better inform and protect tourists coming to BiH.

Minister Cikotić also had a separate meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in The Hague, Riaz Hamidullah.

The special focus of the talks between Minister Cikotić and Ambassador Hamidullah was related to the establishment of cooperation in the field of migration, given that a significant number of migrants coming to BiH are from Bangladesh.

Minister Cikotić presented the current situation in this area, emphasizing the importance of establishing cooperation and exchange of information and enabling the return of persons residing illegally on the territory of BiH, the Ministry of Security of BiH announced.
