Jelovaca wind farm, Tusnica wind farm and Zvizdan solar park will be part of the basic pillar of the Federation of BiH’s energy system in the near future, said FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Dzindic during his visit to Jelovcča wind farm near Tomislavgrad.

“The Jelovaca wind farm was put into operation at the end of 2019. The total value of the investment was 45m euros. Here you can see 18 units of 2 megawatts each, with a total installed capacity of 36 megawatts, and it is a private investor,” said Minister Dzindic in a statement for FENA.

The same investor is working on two new projects: the Tusnica wind farm with a total installed capacity of 72.6 megawatts (project value around 100 million euros) and the Zvizdan solar park with 23 megawatts of installed capacity (project value is around 20 million euros).

The Tusnica wind farm should be in operation by the end of 2023, as well as the Zvizdan solar park.

The total installed capacity in these three projects is about 130 megawatts, and the total value of the investment is over 150 million euros.
