The Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Zlatko Lagumdžija was a keynote speaker at the dialogue panel “Regional cooperation as a guiding of growth and stability”, which is organized by the United Nations Development Agency (UNDP) and the Permanent Mission of B&H to the United Nations and was held at the UN headquarters in New York.
Besides Lagumdžija, the Vice Secretary of UN and the Director of UNDP Helen Clark was the main speaker at the dialogue panel.
The debate was held on the initiative of B&H to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on this subject, to exchange opinions on regional cooperation and its relevance to the strengthening of human resources and to the development of priorities of the UNDP adopted Strategy plan for 2014-2017.
A large number of diplomats from the permanent missions to the United Nations and various UN bodies attended the discussion, where they presented the experiences of countries and organizations from which they come.
During his speech, Lagumdžija presented his vision of regional cooperation in the Western Balkans, and spoke about the perspectives of the cooperation and the challenges that the region will face in the future.
