Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H, Zlatko Lagumdžija received the Deputy Assistant of the US State Secretary Hoyt Yee.
The current political situation in B&H, resolving of main political issues in order to overcome B&H delays on its path towards EU integrations, further bilateral and multilateral cooperation of B&H and USA and the regional situation and regional cooperation were the main topics of conversation, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H.
Minister Lagumdžija and Deputy Assistant of the US State Secretary Yee agreed on the importance of reaching as soon as possible an agreement on the implementation of the decision of the European Court for Human Rights on the case “Sejdić and Finci against B&H”, as a key condition for the progress of B&H towards EU membership.
Also, Lagumdžija and Yee agreed on the importance of solving as soon as possible the issue of military properties in order to meet the conditions for the beginning of the implementation of the Action Plan for Membership in NATO (MAP)
