The Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and the Vice-President of this institution, Vojin Mijatovic, announced the largest celebration of the Statehood Day of BiH in Banja Luka so far.
According to Mijatovic, BiH Statehood Day and the anniversary of ZAVNOBiH were celebrated in Banja Luka two years ago. He pointed out that there were attempts at obstruction, but that they still managed to celebrate.
“Two years ago, SDP BiH Banja Luka, for the first time after the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, organized a ceremonial academy on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day and the anniversary of ZAVNOBIH in Banja Luka. They tried to forbid us from celebrating, canceled the halls we booked, threatened us, but we didn’t give up for two years in a row,” he said.
For the third year of celebrating the holiday in the administrative center of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Mijatovic announced the largest event so far.
“Today, we are living in a very complex moment for our country, there have never been stronger attacks on the homeland. I am announcing this year the largest academy to date, I am announcing an unprecedented celebration of the Statehood Day of our only homeland in Banja Luka. As the darkness is getting bigger, we must respond with an even stronger light, we must respond to hatred with love, we will respond to threats of secession with the European future,” he added.
He invited “the whole of BiH”, the diplomatic corps, and citizens to come to Banja Luka on November 25th to send a common message.
“I invite nationalists and extremists of all nations, colors, and parties not to come because our BiH and their crazy ideas do not go together. BiH is neither Serbian, nor Croatian, nor Bosniak, it is actually all three, it is Serbian, Bosniak, and Croatian, see you in Banja Luka,” Mijatovic concluded, Klix.ba reports.
