Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ankica Gudeljevic spoke yesterday in Sarajevo with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman.

The officials expressed the desire to improve good relations between the two countries in all areas. There are great opportunities for further progress of cooperation and opening of new models in the areas where the Ministry of Civil Affairs operates.

“Areas such as science, culture, education, sports, are precisely the fields in which it is natural that there is cooperation between the two countries. It is up to us to raise the friendly ties between the inhabitants of the two countries to an even higher level institutionally,” Minister Gudeljevic pointed out.

Gudeljevic also referred to the current situation regarding the procurement of vaccines against the infectious disease “Covid-19”. She informed the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs that BiH had joined the “COVAX” program, which did not meet expectations.

This is the reason why the procurement activities have been intensified through the mechanism of the European Union, and in the meantime the donations of friendly countries are extremely significant.

Minister Gudeljevic emphasized that she was pleased with the intention of the Republic of Croatia to donate certain quantities of vaccines to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ministry of Civil Affairs is ready to undertake all activities so that this donation is realized as soon as possible.
