Minister Ž.Cvijanović met with chiefs of Representative offices of RS abroad

RS Minister for Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation Željka Cvijanović and chiefs of representative offices of RS abroad stated that in the last two years, the activities of offices in the field of institutional and economic cooperation were intensifies, as well as the relations with the Diaspora.

During the meeting in Banja Luka they discussed different programs and projects that are being realized in representatives offices, with a brief overview of the key activities performed in the past year.

They also exchanged information about everyday activities of representative offices and they established priorities for this year, with the emphasis of making contacts with businessmen and possible investors, and also the continuation of support for domestic exporters.

Cvijanović introduced the chiefs of representative offices with the changes of regulation relevant for the continuation of work of representative offices of RS abroad, noting that the reduction in the base for calculation of salaries of employees in the offices was a necessary step in order to cut spending in RS.

She presented the chiefs the project of reform of business and its effects on the business environment and attracting foreign investments, keeping in mind basic tasks of mission of the representative offices and their activities in that field.
