The meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of the European Union (EU) and the Western Balkans will be held today in Brussels, and they will discuss security challenges, cooperation in foreign and security policy, as well as preparations for upcoming high-level meetings.
The European Service for Foreign Affairs announced on the “X” social network that the meeting will be chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell.
“Our response to the current geopolitical challenges is solidarity and close cooperation, in order to build resilience and promote peace, security and democracy in Europe,” the announcement reads.
It is also stated that the EU counts on future members as reliable partners.
The meeting will be attended by ministers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo.
