AFBIHThe Ministry of Defense of BiH completed the analysis of the participation of the Armed Forces of BiH on marking the unconstitutional Day of the RS on the 9th of January this year, as confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.

As they said, the Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces Anto Jelec submitted the analysis to the Ministry of Defense, which will be discussed at the meeting of the Minister Marina Pendes and her deputies Sead Jusic and Boris Jerinic.

After that, the document will be submitted to the Presidency of BiH that will discuss this analysis at a joint meeting with the management of the Ministry of Defense.

“Upon completion of these procedural activities, the public will be informed about the details of the analysis and any recommendations for further action,” as said from the Ministry of Defence.

Minister Pendes earlier explained that in the analysis will be examined whether there was a disturbance or abuse of individuals or institutions when it comes to the implementation of the Law on Defense and the service in the Armed Forces, as well as all applicable by-law acts arising from these two laws concerning engagement of the Armed Forces of BiH on the occasion of the 9th of January.

the Chief of Joint Staff was in charge to deliver the full report with the proposed measures if it is determined that there has been a violation of the law and legality by the 2nd of February.

To recall, on the 9th of January, members of the Third Infantry Regiment of the Armed Forces were lined up on the Krajina Square in Banja Luka, where was held the celebration ceremony of the unconstitutional Day of the RS.

Their participation was enabled on the request of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanic, who lined up the Third Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH who gave him the report, but did not take part in the parade.
