Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Sweden Visit BiH Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Sweden visited today a delegation of the BiH Ministry of Defense and BiH Armed Forces, led by the Assistant Minister of Defense Zoran Šajinović.

Brigadier Lennart Danielsson led the Swedish Delegation. Head of the Department for International Relations of the OS Sweden, the first Office for Brigadier Danielsson, Lieutenant Colonel Jan Vall and Thomas Klementsson, the non-residential military attaché in BiH also attended.

After the BiH Ministry of Defense wished the Swedish Delegation a warm welcome, Šajinović began the politico-defense discussion with members of the delegation.

As part of these discussions representatives of the Ministry of Defense and BiH Armed Forces spoke to guests about the most important activities of the Armed Forces in 2012, of their participation in peace missions and transition of the PSOTC in the OS BiH, and introduced proposals of the Ministry and Armed Forces for cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Sweden.

During the stay in BiH and visits to the MO and OSBiH, the Swedish MO and OS Delegation visited the logistical battalion OSBiH u Rajlovac and the OS Swedish contingent in EUFOR in BiH.
