By the end of next week, funds for the allocation of one-time EU aid will be released to municipalities and cities, which will pay the funds to the individual accounts of beneficiaries who have met the conditions, announced the Minister of Labor and Social Policy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Delić.

We remind you that the program includes four categories from the field of social protection. According to the preliminary results, the criteria were met by 152,488 households with about four hundred thousand members who are in the energy poverty zone.

During the appeal procedure, about five thousand complaints were received, of which two thousand remain to be processed. The relevant ministry announces that it will finish the job soon.

According to new updated data, municipalities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) entered a total of 152,334 applications-households, and a total of 301,884 people for the distribution of the European Union (EU) aid with the aim of overcoming the energy crisis, i.e. support in the purchase of firewood for the winter season.

The statistical review was published on the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the FBiH for November 9th. As previously stated, citizens who meet the criteria were able to apply until yesterday.

In the latest updated data, which was updated every day at 12:30 p.m., there were 315,393 potential applicants.

Most of those registered for assistance, 106,721 of them, come from the category of households in which at most two members are pensioners whose pension is not higher than the amount of the guaranteed pension that was in December last year.

Furthermore, 26,202 registered households come from the category of those who have children who are entitled to child allowance.

The following are 19,700 applications from households where financially uninsured and unfit for work adults live who do not have much-needed means of support, and who were paid the right to permanent financial assistance in December last year.

1,328 applications were also received from households in which, during the last year, one or more minor children, due to the death or unknown identity of the other parent, lived with one parent who received a minimum wage of 543 BAM or did not earn taxable income.

The most applications came from Zenica, 11,083 of them, N1 reports.
