Long-time national team player and captain of the senior basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Miralem Halilović, will wear the jersey of Sarajevo’s Bosna from next season, it was announced on the ‘Student’ Facebook profile.

Halilović comes to Sarajevo from the Italian Dinamo Sassari, after a rich international career that he built in Croatia, France, Lithuania, Slovenia and Turkey.

He has passed all age selections of the BiH national team, has grown as a leader on and off the court, and is still at the head of our national team, with which he will soon compete at the Eurobasket in Cyprus.

Previously, the ranks of the ‘Students’ also included the standard Estonian national team player Janari Joesar, who came to Sarajevo from the Polish team Dziki Warsaw.

Joesar led Estonia through the qualifications with his games, and together with Maik Kotsar, he was the team’s most valuable player and one of the key players in the placement of this selection at the Eurobasket.

After his NCAA career, this basketball player who plays as a wing gained professional basketball experience in Estonia, Germany, Poland, and Spain.
