Numerous Mostar residents, as well as representatives of various levels of government, attended Lana Pudar’s reception yesterday evening.
They sent her numerous congratulations, but also a promise that they will invest more in young athletes in the future, and that Mostar will finally get an Olympic swimming pool.
Our best swimmer addressed all those present.
As reported by “Avaz” reporters from the scene, at the moment when the presenter announced Lana and invited her to speak, the fans lit torches in the background and prepared a great welcome for the European champion.
“These are incredible scenes. I am very happy right now. Thank you all for coming to make this event great. I have a goal and I will do everything in my power to reach that goal. An event like this gives me extra strength. Please let us get that pool as soon as possible because we need it as soon as possible. Thanks for the huge support and I love you all,” concluded Lana.
