Mission of the IMF from 10th to 19th September in B&H

IMF Greece Financial CrisisSarajevo – the mission of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) led by Ron ban Rooden will visit B&H in the period from 10th to 19th September this year in order to discuss the 8th tranche according to the SBA (stand-by arrangement) – said today the residential representative of the IMF in B&H Ruben Atoyan.

The executive directors of the IMF approved on September 26th 2012 the request of the B&H concerning a two year SBA.

The combined sixth and seventh tranches were concluded on June 30th this year when the increase of the SBA by 84.55 million SDR (around 95.7 million Euros) was granted so that the country could fulfil the urgent needs of the payment balance caused by terrible floods which affected B&H in May.

The conclusion of the tranche and the increase of the program enabled an allocation of the amount of 169.1 SDR (around 191.4 million Euros).

So far, 422.75 million SDR (around 478.5 million Euros) is allocated within the program. – was announced from the IMF in B&H.
