The public celebration of the New Year in Sarajevo took place in a good atmosphere and from the security point of view, peacefully and without incident, it was confirmed this morning to the Fena news agency from the cantonal Ministry of the Interior.
Apart from five violations (throwing firecrackers, etc.), there were no other types of violation of public order and peace.
Around 30,000 people followed the New Year’s program in front of the Eternal Flame and along the main road in the city center.
The program ended at three after midnight and traffic was released at 3:30.
