Monthly Ticket for Public Transportation for Unemployed Citizens 12 BAM

transport2Unemployed persons who have permanent or temporary residence in the Canton of Sarajevo (CS), and who are listed in the records of “the Employment Service of CS” will be able to buy a monthly ticket for public transport at the price of 12 BAM.

This was determined by the Regulation on the prices of monthly tickets for the unemployed citizens in public transportation in CS which was adopted today by the Government of CS, at the proposal of the Ministry of Transport of Canton Sarajevo.

The unemployed person realizes the right to purchase a monthly ticket based on personal request, statement certified by the relevant authority, certified copies from the control cardboard on the regular report to the “Employment Services of CS” and identity card.

The right on transportation and using of the rights under this Regulation users can realize at any economic subject that is registered for the conducting of public transportation and who have registered lines.

Government supported the attitude that the introduction of a unified cost in the amount of 12 BAM for the category of unemployed persons will contribute to improving the collection of money for transportation tickets and provide a positive financial effects in the overall business of KJKP “GRAS”, which is part of commitment of the Government and the Parliament Assembly of CS expressed through the stabilizing measures of the situation in this company.

The Regulation further defines the method of checking of rights, procedure and manner of realization of the right, and all interested can find the full text of the Regulation on the website of the Government of Sarajevo Canton.
