More than 35.000 Tourists Visited the FBiH in March

SarajevoThe total number of arrivals of tourists in March 2013 in the FBiH amounted to 35.571 people, which is 2.7 percent more than in March 2012, while the number of the arrival of tourists in comparison to February 2013 is higher by 48.1 percent. Visit of domestic tourists was 37.8 percent, and foreign tourists were 62.2 percent.

The total number of tourists who stayed overnight in March was 63.207, which is 0.4 percent less than in March 2012, and in comparison to February 2013 it is higher by 42,2 percent, according to statistics from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

Most of the tourists that visited were from Croatia (26.8 percent), Turkey (12.2 percent), Serbia (6,8 percent), Italy (6,4 percent), and Slovenia (5,9 percent). This is a total of 58.1 percent. Tourists from other countries made up 41.9 percent of overnight stays.

The number of available beds in March 2013 was 15.126, which is 17.2 percent more than in March 2012.

The net rate of utilization of beds in the area of the FBIH amounted to 13.5 percent.
