Perseids – meteor showers are one of the most beautiful sights in the sky that we can watch. This year, Perseids or tears of St. Loure will be more exciting than usual.
The meteor shower will happen on the night of August 12th, 2017. Some astronomers are announcing that this will be the most beautiful meteor shower in recent times. It’ll light up the night sky and will even be visible in some parts of the world during the day.
It’s believed that the next meteor shower of this scope will happen again in 96 years.
Meteor showers happen each year between July 17th and August 24th, their peak being between August 9th and 13th.
Meteor showers are a group of meteors from one spot in the sky (radiant).
Perseids come from the comment Swift-Tuttle, which circles the sun every 113 years.
