More than 50 Percent of Vehicles in Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina older than 15 Years

Last year, a total of 671,614 vehicles were registered in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is 4.1 percent more than in 2018 when 645,044 vehicles were registered.

Of the total number of road motor vehicles registered in 2019, 87.4 percent related to passenger, 10.3 percent to freight, and 2.3 percent to all other vehicle categories.

Viewed by age, 6.9 percent of the total number of registered road motor vehicles are in the category up to 5 years, 37.9 percent are in the category from 6 to 15 years, while 55.2 percent are older than 15 years.

Of the total number of registered road motor vehicles, 55,715 are for the first time registered road motor vehicles in 2019, which is 2.1 percent more than in 2018 when 54,556 vehicles were first registered, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
