The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina should today consider the principles of the Draft Law on Freedom of Access to Information at the Institutional Level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina unanimously approved the proposal of that law with the mark EI as a confirmation of appropriate compliance with the regulations of the European Union in this area – it was stated earlier from that institution.

On Monday, the House of Representatives of the state parliament considered the proposal of that law, but it will be declared at one of the next sessions after the voting procedure on the introduced amendments is completed.

Today, the House of Peoples should also consider the Report of the Collegium Commission on the effort to reach agreement on the Annual Report of the Central Bank of BiH for 2022.

The Report of the Collegium Commission on the effort to reach agreement on supplementing the agenda of the session with an item that reads: The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH requests from the Ministry of Security of BiH urgent and complete information on the state of security for the period from 1 January to 15 June 2023, with a special emphasis on the safety of children and minors, juvenile delinquency and the possession, possession and carrying of weapons, ammunition and mine-explosive devices in BiH.

Consideration of several reports and information, as well as giving consent for the ratification of an international agreement, are also foreseen.
