The head of the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Luigi Soreca, supported the football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead of tonight’s match against Canada at the World Cup.
Soreca shared a photo on social networks in the new shirt of the BiH national team, along with a short message showing that he was looking forward to the match with great interest.
“The shirt is on me and I’m ready for the game,” wrote Soreca.
In his post, he especially praised the fans of Bosnia and Herzegovina, noting that they had already left a strong impression on the tournament.
“One thing is certain, the fans from Bosnia and Herzegovina are already the winners of this tournament. With all their hearts, they are with the Dragons,” said the head of the EU Delegation.
Sorece’s support for the BiH national team is not new. After Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified for the World Cup with a historic victory over Italy, the Italian diplomat was among the first to congratulate the Dragons and wish them the best of luck at the biggest football event, even though he was rooting for his country’s national team during the qualifiers.
His message today is another confirmation of the sympathy he has for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its national team, which starts its performance at the World Cup tonight against Canada.
