passportWhen traveling to EU member states and signatories of the Schengen Agreement, next to biometric passports, citizens of BiH should have the money in the amount of 35-70 EUR for each day of their stay in the EU.

This was stated from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noting that border services may require proof of funds for stay in a particular country or the information on the address where you will stay. Citizens of BiH when traveling to the EU and signatories of the Schengen Agreement must have a travel document valid for at least 3 months from the date of the intended stay in the EU or signatories of the Schengen Agreement.

Citizens of the following countries may enter in BiH, apart from the passport or a valid ID card for proving identity and citizenship:

  • Member States of EU
  • Schengen Agreement signatories including Andorra, Montenegro, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, Serbia, Holy See and Swiss Confederation.

The minimum amount of funds that foreigners who travel to BiH need to have amounts to 150.00 BAM (or the equivalent in foreign currency) for each day of intended stay, as announced from the Ministry.
