Multimillion Job: Euro-Asfalt to Build a Highway in Montenegro

euroasfaltBosnia and Herzegovina’s construction company Euro-Asfalt will be building a section of highway in Montenegro, as exclusively confirmed to Klix.ba.

Montenegro is the only country in the Balkans that has no highway. That could change in four years, when the first section of the highway Bar – Boljare, from Smokovac to Mateševo should be completed. This section is worth 809 million euros.

The first highway in Montenegro will be built by Chinese companies and the Chinese Exim Bank will provide loans.

Bosnian company Euro-Asfalt will participate in this project as a subcontractor, and the value of works is estimated at around 70 million BAM. In the next month, the contract should be officially signed and all the details of this engagement should be revealed.

This represents a great success not only for Euro-Asphalt, but for the entire B&H construction engineering. Especially important is that the works will begin at the time when a series of projects on the B&H highway ends. Thus the Euro-Asfalt, as one of the largest B&H companies in the construction engineering, will employ manpower and machinery in Montenegro, but will also continue to develop and improve their own references.
