Budget Proposal for FB&H for the Current Year Approved

governmentThe House of Representatives of the Federal Parliamentary Assembly of B&H by getting the majority of the votes, approved the proposal of this year’s budget of the Federation, which was established last night at the emergency sitting of the new FB&H Government.

To become operational, budget had to be adopted last night by the House of Peoples as well, because with the end of yesterday’s day, the decision on temporary financing of FB&H for the first three months of this year, was expired.

“The budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2015 amounts to 2,334,147,169 BAM, which is by 141.4 million or 5.7 percent less than the budget for 2014,” said the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, in front of the delegates.

The budget foresees a surplus of current account in the amount of about 201 million BAM.

“The needs for financing through domestic and foreign receivables amounts 684 million. This refers to the funds of the International Monetary Fund, treasury bills and other mechanisms,” said Novalić. He explained that the fourth review under the stand-by arrangement, the IMF funds, amounts 200 million BAM and the World Bank funds 54 million KM.

The amount of external debt is 989 million BAM. “On the salaries of 7,300 employees, 194 million BAM are planned – said Novalić, explaining this year’s budget of the Federation.
