srebrenica_fenaMunicipal election commission in Srebrenica held a session at which it was decided that the commission will continue working.

“Municipal election commission is continuing its work. We agree that we will continue working regardless of the circumstances. I cannot say anything about the decision on the opening of bags and counting of ballots,” said the President of the Municipal election commission (OIK) Srebrenica Nermin Alivuković, adding that the commission is expecting further instructions from the Central Election Commission (CIK) about how to solve this problem.

“We gained access to the election materials around 2 pm,” said Alivuković yesterday.

Decision on whether the votes will be counted in the OIK Srebrenica or the CIK will take over the materials has not been reached yet. The decision should be made by the CIK.

As a reminder, the OIK Srebrenica stopped working yesterday because of the pressure imposed on the members of the commission prevented them from doing their job adequately.

Meanwhile, support unit of the Special Department of MIA RS left Srebrenica. They were securing the election materials in the premises of the Srebrenica Municipality.
