Municipality of Konjic developing Economic Environment for New Investors

Konjic municipalityThe Management of the Municipality of Konjic strives to the favorable economic environment in order to attract domestic and foreign investors. In order to achieve the set of obligations, the Chief of the Municipality of Konjic, Emir Bubalo, said for ekapija.ba that they have signed the Business Friendly Certification South East Europe program for improving the economic environment in local administrations.

In this way they will adjust the municipal administration to as soon as possible respond to requests from investors, especially in the issuance of building permissions. Also, it should be worked at the facilitating the production sector from utilities.

Domestic investments represent the great importance for the Municipality, although, emphasizes Bubalo, from great importance are foreign investments as well because they are bringing new technologies, new knowledge and the change of the mindset.

One of the most perspective municipality’s economic sectors is the metal processing industry. Among such companies, the leading one is Igman, that works in the full capacity, from which, said Bubalo, ten metal processing companies grew that deal with various kinds of metal processing, among which is SurTec-Eurosjaj, Screw Factory…
