Today, the mayor of the municipality Tešanj, Suad Huskić met with his associates and representatives of the Association of Businessmen of Tešanj visited the construction site of the business zone “Glinište”.
In the last four years, about one million BAM was invested in this business zone. Primarily, it is a fund of emission of municipal bonds, and later the project was supported by the government of the Zenica – Doboj Canton, and the Foundation for sustainable development of FB&H – OdRaz. Currently, works worth about 300,000 BAM are contracted on the construction of the business zone “Glinište.” The municipality purchased the land last year, and this year’s work are focused on the breaking through and the formation of a completely new road, 750 meters long and 12 meters wide. Almost 180,000 BAM were invested only for the purchase of the land.
“We are opening the completely new areas for investment, due to the rapid development of the economy and the increased interest of investors. Works are currently in progress and we are trying to take advantage of the construction season. Besides this zone, we are working in the business zones Bukva and Ciglana during 2015 as well. Among the other things, these are the projects on which we are recognized as partners for the future as well, “said Suad Huskić, the Mayor of Tešanj.
The plan is to buy another 10,000 square meters this year for the business zone “Glinište” in order to complete the main road. The interest of investors is already very high.
Tešanj already has three business areas, along with business zone “Glinište” which is under the construction for the last two years, in which the municipality has invested about 1 million BAM. These zones are commercial zones Bukva, Ciglana and Economy, within which operates 57 companies and business subjects, with some of them being national and international leaders in their branches.
