The best Bosnian skier Elvedina Muzaferija is satisfied with her performances in the last two races in the super giant slalom in Kvitfjell, where she won ninth and 13th place respectively.

Muzaferija started today from the 23rd position, which is the best starting number in her career when it comes to the World Cup, and in the end, after several interruptions of the race due to thick fog, she managed to cross the finish line with the 13th time and thus ensure placement in the finals of the World Cup in this discipline as well. We remind you that Muzaferija won the final in the downhill earlier and will compete with the 25 best female skiers this season in the last two races in two disciplines.

Muzaferija had a great start to the race and by the last “pass” had a time worthy of the podium. But in the lower part of the track, she made a mistake that cost her an even better result.

“The upper part of the track was very good, on the last passage I had a podium, but one mistake cost me a lot. But I’m happy again because I qualified for the final. I think that after a very long day due to interruptions and delays, this is quite a good result,” said Muzaferija.

She points out that after yesterday’s ride, she knew much better what to expect.

“I knew the track much better, could attack much more, believed in my skiing, however, the race is from the start to the finish and the mistake cost me a lot,” she emphasized.

She adds that in the last two months he has been providing extremely good results and that she enjoys the races, but that she remains sorry that he has not been at this level since the beginning of the season.

She will be the first skier from Bosnia and Herzegovina to compete in the final of the World Cup, for which, as she states, she is happy and proud, and will try to do as well as possible and achieve a good result in the final as well.

She hopes that her successes will encourage young skiers in BiH not to give up on their goals, to train hard and that results must come from that.

She repeated once again that she hopes that BiH will win the World Cup race and that our country has good potential for that.

Elvedina Muzaferija secured a place in the finals of the World Cup in super giant slalom and downhill, where only the 25 best skiers of the season compete.

The final race in the super giant slalom is on the 22nd and in the downhill on the 23rd of March, and the final is held in Saalbach, Fena news agency writes.
