Three-Day Sports Event ‘Ice Fest 2014’ in Zetra Finished

hokejThe game of the regional hockey matches of the EBEL League last night in Zetra finished the three-day sports event ‘Ice Fest 2014’ between Olimpija-KAC Klagenfurt, which was organized to mark the 30 year anniversary of the 14th Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.

In the presence of more than 7.000 hockey fans for the match in Zetra between Olimpija and KAC Klagenfurt, ended with a 2:1 result for the team from Austria.

The Olimpija hockey players, who in Zetra were the formal hosts, were defeated in their first game two days ago by Villach from Austria with 6:5. The Ljubljana team with two new defeats came in last, in 12th place.

In addition to the EBEL League matches, which were the main event, there was also young hockey players, who were participants of the tournament together with their colleagues from Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. As part of the event, on Saturday an exhibition games by veterans took place, and ‘Ice Fest Disco on Ice’ took place with accompanying music.

The organizers were the B&H Hockey Association and the Hockey Club Olimpija from Ljubljana, with the support of EBEL League, and with the sponsorship of the City of Sarajevo.
