”There is only one condition for full activation of Action plan for NATO membership of BiH in NATO, and it is that 63 locations of military property that will be used by the Ministry of Defence of BiH register to BiH.
Twenty locations are ready to be registered immediately, and the remaining locations will be registered by summer of next year”, said American general Walter T. Lord on a first NATO forum for BiH media in Doboj.
Lord said: ” Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda said to the Executive board that the leaders of the six parties are ready to solve this issue. We can immediately intensify our work in order to prepare for the implementation of that decision.”
NATO representatives emphasized the advantages of being a member of NATO.
General Lord said that he believes that citizens of BiH, as well as all other people in the world wish for peace, security and stability, and that is exactly what NATO gives.
