The OHR informed that a meeting of the high delegation of NATO and the high representative Christian Schmidt was held in Sarajevo today.
“A meaningful meeting and conversation with a high-level NATO delegation led by Assistant Secretary General for Operations Thomas Goffus and the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Matthew Valas,” the statement reads.
High Representative Christian Schmidt emphasized the need for more intensive cooperation between international and domestic actors in BiH in order to improve activities on the implementation of reforms in BiH and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The High Representative thanked NATO for its firm commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“NATO remains a true partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina in building capacities in the field of peace and security,” said High Representative Schmidt.
