NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived tonight for a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he will meet with numerous officials. A working dinner with members of the BiH Presidency is planned for tonight.
Stoltenberg’s meeting with the Chairperson of the BiH Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto and the Minister of Defense Zukan Helez is scheduled for tomorrow.
Stoltenberg should also meet with the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, and visit the headquarters of the NATO headquarters in Sarajevo.
The NATO Secretary General previously confirmed Althea’s support for the operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is led by the European Union, and which plays an important role in regional stability.
After visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina, Stoltenberg will travel to Kosovo, then to Serbia and North Macedonia.
