1604628_679701768719233_2112093791_nWith the support of the US Embassy, the Youth Center Sarajevo is preparing a new performance based on the play written by Christopher Durang called “Baby in the Bathwater’. There is still no title in the Bosnian language.

‘’This is the first time that a play is being prepared based on the writings of this author, not only in B&H but in the entire Balkans’’, said playwright Segor Hadžagić.

The cast of the play is: Elma Ahmetović, Sanin Milavić, Mirza Dervišić, Ajla Cabrera, Edin Avdagić and Alma Merunka. It will be directed by Neil Fleckman from the US. The premiere is expected at the beginning of March.

Actress Elma Ahmetović plays four interesting characters.

‘’The theme of the text is alienation in the family, friendship and relationships. There are hints of black comedy in it. To laugh at something, which is part of our everyday lives, doesn’t occur only here, but also in the US’’, she said.

Actor Damir Kustura is working for the first time with this Director, who comes from a different country, but he said that there are neither language nor social barriers between them, and said that the public will enjoy the performance.
