The Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, said that during the conversation with the Minister of Interior of the Federation of BiH, Ramo Isak, about the current security situation in BiH, a high degree of agreement was reached and a common commitment to ensure peace and stability in BiH.

“During the talks in Sarajevo, there was also talk about the safety of returnees, regardless of whether they are Bosniaks, Serbs or Croats, and we agreed that we must guarantee safety for all of them, and that all those who possibly endanger the life and property of returnees should be prosecuted in accordance with the law”, emphasized Nešić.

According to him, he arranged with Isak to visit returnees who are in any way threatened in the areas where they currently live, all with the aim of improving not only the security situation, but also the living conditions of these people.

Nešić welcomed Isak’s views, which go in the direction of protecting the freedoms and rights of all people in BiH, regardless of nationality, with a special emphasis on the stability, security and prosperity of people in BiH.

“It is clear to everyone that there is no economic progress without a security environment,” said Nešić.

He announced that tomorrow in Banja Luka he should meet with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan and his associates.
