Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that they are ready for anything, including war with Hezbollah, to establish security on the Lebanese border.

During a visit to a military unit near the Lebanese border, Netanyahu commented on the latest developments in that region.

He pointed out that “Hezbollah made a big mistake in 2006 and continues to make the same mistake today.”

Netanyahu stated that they are determined to do whatever is necessary to establish security in the north of Israel.

“We will do everything to restore security in the north and enable the safe return of our families to their homes,” he said.

He added that the Israeli army will do whatever is necessary, but that they would prefer that everything be achieved without war.

He recalled the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and again warned Hezbollah.

“We are giving them an example of what happened to their friends in southern Gaza. We will do everything to restore security,” Netanyahu said.
