A new 25,000 doses of the second component of the “Sputnik v” vaccine for immunization of the population against coronavirus have been delivered to Republika Srpska, for which funds have been provided by the RS Government, the RS Ministry of Health and Social Welfare announced.

The new quantities that were delivered today to the warehouse of the importer “Krajina Group” in Banja Luka are intended for the continuation of the revaccination of the population against coronavirus with the vaccine of the Russian manufacturer, it is stated in the announcement.

“Upon completion of the procedures, the vaccines will be sent to health institutions that carry out immunization of the population throughout the Republika Srpska,” the statement added.

It is pointed out that so far, including this delivery, a total of 299,300 doses of the first and second components of the “sputnik ve” vaccine have arrived in Republika Srpska in this way.

The Ministry of Health reminds that, according to the manufacturer’s instructions, revaccination with the second component “sputnik ve” can be realized in the period from 21 to 90 days after vaccination with the first component.

The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare points out that health institutions in Republika Srpska have sufficient quantities of vaccines from several manufacturers against the corona virus and once again call on citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible and thus protect their health and contribute to the most comprehensive immunization against this disease.
