New Airlines Take Off: Sarajevo Airport Expands Its Flight Network

Last week, the summer flight schedule at Sarajevo International Airport came into effect.

As part of the summer flight schedule from Sarajevo International Airport, according to the latest information, 27 scheduled and charter airlines will operate to a total of 36 destinations across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Compared to last year, the new destinations in the summer flight schedule are Paris, Girona, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Düsseldorf.

Also, with the start of the summer flight schedule, airlines that previously operated from Sarajevo Airport are returning, while some of the new lines have already started or will soon start operations.

Below is the schedule of the start of operations of airlines that are resuming operations from Sarajevo International Airport in the summer flight schedule, as well as flights to new destinations that are being established for the first time from Sarajevo:

(Ryanair) Paris – 31.03.
(Ryanair) Stockholm – 31.03.
(Ryanair) Thessaloniki – 02.06.
(Ryanair) Girona – 31.03.

(Ryanair) Dusseldorf – 01.04.
(Ryanair) Baden-Baden – 03.04.
(Norwegian Air Shuttle) Oslo – 23.06.
(Ryanair) Stockholm – 01.04.
(Norwegian Air Shuttle) Copenhagen – 06.05.
SAS Copenhagen – 23.04.
SunExpress Izmir – 03.04.
Flynas Jeddah – 02.04.
Qatar Airways Doha – 31.05.
Jazeera Airways Kuwait – 31.03.
Kuwait Airways Kuwait – 09.06.

Passengers can find a detailed schedule of flights, including frequency and days of operations, on the website http://www.sia.ba, where the summer flight schedule is published.
